Voice teacher


Jessica Miller is a passionate music educator and vocalist who graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Education) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2025.

Since 2020, Jessica has been teaching singing at the New England Conservatorium of Music (NECOM), working with students across a range of styles, including Classical, Musical Theatre, Folk, Jazz, Pop, and Country.

While classically trained, Jessica values student autonomy in repertoire selection while also encouraging exploration beyond their comfort zone.

In addition to private voice teaching, Jessica is an experienced classroom music teacher, having taught both high school and primary school music.

She enjoys working with a diverse range of students, from young learners to adults.

Beyond teaching, Jessica is an active member of the Armidale music community, participating in the community choir, Fiori.

Committed to holistic musical development, she prioritises performance opportunities for students and emphasises the importance of aural skills, sight-reading, and overall musicianship.

Her teaching approach integrates music literacy, ensuring students engage with notation as they learn.

Jessica has also successfully prepared students for the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) Comprehensive Voice and Musical Theatre Exams, supporting their structured progression in vocal technique and musicianship.
