Beck grew up on a property on the North Coast of New South Wales, near Ballina, where she was immersed in local musical opportunities from an early age.

She pursued music throughout her education, beginning vocal training at a young age and later performing with the award-winning Ballina Players Theatre.

From 2004 to 2007, she held various roles with the them before relocating to Armidale.

Since 2008, Beck has been dedicated to Early Childhood Education, earning her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care in 2010.

She has gained extensive experience across diverse early childhood settings, including community preschools, Montessori settings, Waldorf Steiner settings, long day care, family day care, and transition programs.

Beck joined NECOM in 2019 as an Early Childhood Music Teacher.

She is passionate about Early Childhood and the effects of music on children. She has completed three levels of Kodály training, achieving her Australian Kodály Certificate (Early Childhood).
